The video below, CCTA footage from December 10, 2015, shows a GMC pickup truck barely missing two front desk employees driven by a reportedly disgruntled hotel guest of the [too close for] Comfort Inn in Alva, Oklahoma (pop. 5,000).

The man is first seen talking to a police officer outside the hotel near the lobby doors before driving directly into the hotel lobby, through the front doors, and destroying a portion of the registration desk just as the two employees jump out of the way.

The man immediately gets out of the truck, after driving it forward a second time, and raises his hands to surrender to the officer he was talking with moments ago. The officer was there due to the dispute between the man and hotel staff over whether or not his debt card was charged after it was declined and he had paid cash for his room.

The man is said to face two felony charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and one count of malicious injury to property, and is being held on a $1 million bond.
